If you are wondering about my name, yes my mother and father named me after the movie star “Debbie Reynolds”.

 

My hometown is Cross Hill, South Carolina. It is a very small town, but we have a home on Lake Greenwood with a peaceful water view every day. 

 

My husband and I also own a 35 foot Trawler that we keep on the coast on Folly Beach South Carolina, very close to Charleston South Carolina. We have enjoyed dividing our time between the lake, our boat on the east coast, and of course our condo in Punta Cana. Our family has spent all our lives around water. My son was a full-time swimmer, with swimming records in the top ten in South Carolina and received a swimming scholarship for college

 

I was watching HGTV International House Hunters one afternoon and I decided I had to take a trip to Punta Cana and check out the great deals on places for sale in the Caribbean that I had seen on the HGTV program. My husband and I made our first trip to Punta Cana in November of 2008 and spent a week looking at condos for sale. 

We saw several places that we really loved but we went home without purchasing. I continued to look online. I could not get Punta Cana out of my mind. The beaches were beautiful and the people were all so friendly and, of course, there were the great deals. We made another trip down in May of 2009 and we purchased our condo in Punta Cana. We have no regrets and we love it so much that we have now made Punta Cana our home. We rented our condo to others while we were not in Punta Cana and that worked out very well for us, too.

 

I have a degree in Computer Science and after working in IT for 30 years I decided I wanted to sell Real Estate in Punta Cana and I started selling in 2013 and I LOVE my job! I started taking Real Estate classes on the weekends while I was still working in IT. I received my South Carolina Real Estate license in May 2010; I went to work for Coldwell Banker Premier Properties in Greenwood South Carolina. I became a Realtor in Greenwood South Carolina, focusing mostly on selling lake property on Lake Greenwood. In 2012, I became a top salesman for my office and number 9 selling agent out of Greenwood South Carolina within the first year and half of my career as a Realtor. I loved my job at Coldwell Banker but selling in Punta Cana is the best job I have ever had! I love helping people find their dream home or a vacation home.
